Prof  Raj Siriram, Convener of  the LINK Centre's Digital Innovation and Leadership Programme, is a Visiting Adjunct Professor, School of Mechanical, Industrial and Aeronautical Engineering, Wits Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment; and Chief Executive of Alpha Concepts Pty (Ltd), a professional management and engineering consulting company. Siriram was previously an Operations executive at Plessey, a Dimension Data company; and Chief Information Officer at Dimension Data Middle East and Africa.  He was also Divisional Managing Director at Siemens, a Manufacturing Systems Manager at General Electric, and a Manufacturing Manager at Alstom. In addition, Siriram was a Board member of Siemens Botswana and of SAPICS SA. He is currently an advisory board member for Global Actionable Innovation (GAI), a global venture capital company. 

Drawing on his 30 years of work experience, including more than 10 years at executive level, Siriram's research interests are in technology management, enterprise engineering, project management, and systems engineering. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Wits, and is registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa.
