Description of Residences

Living within a residence hall environment can be one of the most rewarding experiences of a student's career.

Faculty/student interaction in a residence, developing competence in all aspect of leadership, shaping a community from a cross-cultural perspective, late night discussions with peers/fellow students - these are just a few of the many opportunities that residence life provides, apart from sporting and social activities.

In catering residences, meals are provided as part of the residence package.
In self-catering accommodation, no meals are provided, but the residence provides catering facilities, including stoves, microwaves and fridges.

The residences are divided into six clusters and vary in size and layout. The clusters are:

NB: All applications are done online, not directly with the residences.

Residences are linked to all campuses by means of a bus service between 07:00 and 24:00. A special shopping bus links the residences to the Rosebank precinct on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
