A djunct Professor Stephen Tuson is one of 10 practising attorneys at the Wits Law Clinic, where he is involved in the teaching and practical supervision of over 400 students in the final year of their law degrees. He runs the Family Law Clinic, which represents indigent clients in court in divorces, guardianship applications and other family-related matters. He specialises in criminal defences. Besides his clinical work, Stephen has lectured in criminal law, civil procedure and criminal procedure. Stephen hosted seminars for the International Law Institute, Kampala, Uganda, where he trains government and private lawyers from central and northern Africa in Legal Ethics and Trial Advocacy. He also trains candidate attorneys for the Attorneys Admission exams.
