Women's Month Public Lecture and Panel Discussion: Bad Blood – Aunt Flo

Women's Month Public Lecture and Panel Discussion: Bad Blood – Aunt Flo. Time of the Month. On the Rag. England has invaded. Red Spot. All these words are associated with a natural phenomenon called Menstruation. The first time a girl has her period, it can either be met with celebration or fear, and many people grapple with shame and taboos surrounding menstruation. This public lecture will be a panel discussion with religious leaders and experts to talk about the different perspectives and cultural practices surrounding menstruation. We invite you all to come and share your experiences and join in the discussion. Speakers include social activist Candice Chirwa, Orly Shapiro, LLB student Miriro Munodawafa.

Tickets available online on: https://www.webtickets.co.za/performance.aspx?itemid=1493542886 or at the door.
