## Postgraduate Programmes

### MSc - Robotics

- Postgraduate
- 1 - 2 years
- Full-time; Part-time

Robotics is one of the world’s fastest growing fields. It has the potential to revolutionise society. There are two aspects to robotics that are of interest to scientists and engineers. The physical design and construction of robots, and the algorithms that are used for control.

### PhD - Computational and Applied Mathematics

- Postgraduate
- 2 - 4 years
- Full-time; Part-time

Computational and Applied Mathematics is the practice of employing mathematical techniques and approaches to the solution of real-world problems throughout STEM fields. The focus of the programme is to equip candidates with a set of tools for the interpretation, distillation and solution approach of a given problem. The tools covered in this programme focus on computational methods, mathematical modelling, optimisation and differential equations.

### PhD - Computer Science

- Postgraduate
- 2 - 4 years
- Full-time; Part-time

Computer Science is fundamentally the science of problem solving. The discipline is best characterised as a search for general, efficient solutions to problems, which will most commonly be implemented as software. These problems can be real-world, tangible problems such as speech recognition, or abstract problems such as determining what types of problems can be solved with computers.
