Late applications will not be accepted.

Before being admitted to residence, you must pay an initial instalment of R5 000 towards your annual residence fees.

International students are required to pay 75% of their total residence fees before admission.

NSFAS-funded students must have provisional or firm acceptance of their funding before being placed in a residence.

Bursary students must provide proof of bursary funding at the time of registration.

Applications must be submitted online via the Student Self-Service portal.

If you receive a residence offer, you will have three (3) days to accept. After this period, the offer will be automatically withdrawn.

Readmission to University accommodation is not automatic and is subject to review.

Each application is assessed based on a student’s academic performance and disciplinary record.

Applications for readmission must be completed online via the Student Self-Service portal by 30 September.

If you wish to apply for a different residence, you can select this option when completing your online application.

Applications for postgraduate residence are completed online via the Student Self-Service portal.
