You are invited to the upcoming roundtable hosted by the Wits School of Governance in partnership The National Planning Commission, Partnership for Action on the Green Economy, Oliver & Adelaide Tambo Foundation, United Nations Development Programme, and Department of Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation.
This roundtable forms part of the National Planning Commission’s process of engagement on identifying pathways for a Just Transition. The session will specifically focus on consultation with youth, and we invite youth to attend and contribute to this important policy process.
The discussion will reflect on where South Africa should be by 2050, with an emphasis on key areas including land-use, water and energy. The outcomes of the discussion will be included in the National Planning Commission’s paper and final declaration.
Please find attached the invitation with all relevant details for 3 October 2018, and RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org by 28 September 2018.
We look forward to your attendance, and would appreciate it if you could share this invitation with youth in your networks.
