The MAC aims to:
- instill a culture of academic excellence, accountability, fellowship and collaboration among the School of Mathematics tutors and students,
- play a strategic role in all areas of mathematics teaching and learning at the University of the Witwatersrand and;
- develop and promote efficient, engaging and exciting tutorials whilst being an innovative, well-resourced centre with committed and professional tutors.
The MAC is open to all undergraduate students and tutors on weekdays from 10:15 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tutors will be available for tutorial sessions during the periods specified on the MAC timetable. You can visit the centre if you need help with your tutorials, understanding concepts that were discussed in class or with past papers.
