DESCRIPTION:A monthly museum club for children aged 6–13What if children could experience a museum not only as somewhere they visit, but as a place they can explore, create, question and return to again and again? The Origins Club is a new programme at Origins Centre where children can meet once a month and explore the museum together.
<br />Every month will bring a different theme and activity. Children might:

<br />Become archaeologists for the day
<br />Experiment with ochre and natural pigments
<br />Discover stories hidden in rock art
<br />Create maps and imagined journeys
<br />Experiment with sound, movement and storytelling
<br />Design their own museum of the future.

<br />HOW DOES IT WORK?The Origins Club meets once a month for two hours. Each session includes:

<br />Exploration of the museum
<br />A facilitated monthly activity
<br />Creative and collaborative learning
<br />Time to meet and work with other children
