DESCRIPTION:Fables and Folktales: A festival of short plays for young audiencesThe Wits Theatre and Performance department would like to invite you and your children watch our annual Fables and Folktales Festival. The festival showcases our talented third year acting students in six short and vibrant local stories from different cultures in South Africa:

<br />Inkanyamba Yothando: The Snake of Love
<br />Brain Beats Brawn
<br />Each story teaches a clear, valuable lesson aimed at young audiences – from the value of community and being kind to learning to love yourself and others, from brain beats brawn to keeping your promises – all told through colourful characters, lively songs and interactive staging. Our multicultural, multilingual fables and folktales will be sure to create excellent conversations among learners long after the curtain falls!&#xa0;
