DESCRIPTION:The Department of Political Studies, Wits University, invites you to join us at a memorial event for Dr Stephen John Louw.Stephen passed away suddenly in June, a great shock to the many who knew him, worked with him, or were mentored by him. Stephen was employed at Wits University for thirty years before taking up a job at the University of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. He subsequently retained links with the Wits Political Studies Department as a Research Associate. Stephen is remembered in the Wits community as a dedicated teacher, friendly colleague and razor-sharp mind. The event will be an opportunity to recall and reflect on the Stephen everyone knew.
