Speakers include industry experts from Google, Infinera, and Alcatel Submarine Networks. The workshop is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students, educators, and academics. The aim of the workshop is to learn the basics of submarine and terrestrial fibre communication networks in South Africa, as well as how these fibre networks make cloud computing possible.
