The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering goes online

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the University of the Witwatersrand moved its academic lecturing to an online platform. The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering has followed suit and has successfully started the first week of term 1 of the 2021 academic year completely online.

 

Using the new online platform of Ulwazi, The entire university, including the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering have moved their postgraduate and undergraduate courses online. 

WITS takes home the SAICE National IP for 2019

The SAICE National IP Showdown champions for 2019 are Sheldon Reddy and Brandon Naidoo, for their impressive presentation entitled ’ Assessing the Viability of a Conjunctive Water Reuse System in Urban Residences in South Africa’ they walk away with a R 10 000 cash prize proudly sponsored by AF Consulting Engineers.
