Counselling and Careers Development Unit (CCDU)

CCDU provides a host of services which is rendered by a professional team. Services are therefore confidential and of a high standard of practice.  

CCDU offers the following HIV and AIDS services:

• One-on-one counselling
• Support  and referrals
• HIV/AIDS Education
• HIV/AIDS Awareness, campaigns and events
• Facilitation of support groups (where possible)

Campus Health & Wellness Centre (CHWC)

CHWC offers a wide variety of health services to Wits students and staff. These services are convenient, accessible, caring and cost-effective. CHWC is a registered professional medical practice and all of its patient records are therefore confidential. Information regarding a patient will only be released with the written permission from the patient, if court ordered or in the case of threatening illness. 

CHWC offers the following HIV and AIDS services:

• Free Voluntary counselling and testing
• Referrals for ARVs
• Treatment support
• Referral for counselling and support
