Aquatics is a collective term for four Olympic water events: Swimming, Water polo, Diving, and Synchronized Swimming.
The Wits Aquatics Club currently caters for Swimming and Water polo.
The University boasts 2 Olympic sized swimming pools on the East Campus (heated) and the Wits Education Campus.
Swimming is open to all registered students and staff, and members can access the pool at a time most convenient to them. The pools are open Mondays – Fridays, 07h00 to 17h30 for social swimmers,
however between 08h00-10h00 they are not available for cleaning purposes. Over the weekend,
registered members can access both pools from 10h00 – 18h00.
