Welcome to the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment

There are seven academic Schools in the Faculty. Five of these are in the Engineering disciplines, and two are in the Built Environment disciplines.

You will find your time here challenging – but you will also find that every resource that you need to be successful here is available to you. It is your responsibility to make use of those resources. If you are a first year student you may find it frightening to be here. But I can assure you that every graduate we have ever produced also had that same feeling. So make it your business to get to know staff members and senior students from your School. You will have ample opportunity to do this, so do not let that opportunity slip by.
