Charles's research interests lie in international and comparative tax law, tax policy, and the regulation of money laundering.

C harles De Matos Ala joined the School of Law as a lecturer in 2004. Prior to joining the School of Law, he was a practising attorney. He obtained his LLM in tax law in 2001 and Higher Diploma in Company Law in 2003.

Post Graduate Diploma in Tax Law, Law of Taxation at undergraduate level, Law of Delict.
