The aim is to shift South Africa from an "emerging" to an "intermediate" space nation. Since then, many exciting opportunities are becoming available in space research! The Wits Space Portal is a place where students, researchers, companies, and government institutions can keep up to date on the latest space activities happening at Wits University and to provide contacts and help develop collaborations within the local space community.
