Why study Portuguese?

There is great potential for Portuguese speakers in Africa mainly due to the proximity of Mozambique and Angola. There are opportunities in every sphere of activity such as hospitality, insurance, journalism and management. In addition, the request for Portuguese teaching and translating in the SADC region as well as in West African states is on the increase. It is the working language of numerous international organizations. It is the official language of Brazil and taught in some of the other South American countries. Therefore, there are many possibilities of employment in almost any area of industry.
