IBM Q is an industry-first initiative to build commercial universal quantum systems for business and science applications. For more information about IBM's quantum computing efforts, please click here. IBM Q Network™ and IBM Q™ are trademarks of International Business Machines Corporation.
Africa is quantum ready IBM has expanded its quantum computing program with Wits as its first partner in Africa on the IBM Q Network. Wits will be the gateway for academics across South Africa and to the 15 universities who are part of the African Research Universities Alliance (ARUA).
Collaboration African academics, researchers and students in ARUA are now able to collaborate to pioneer quantum computing to solve real-world problems faster and more efficiently than may be possible with a classical computer.
Resources Wits has access to IBM Q commercial quantum computing devices, including the most advanced and scalable universal systems available. For access to the current 20 qubit IBM Q system, contact us.
IBM Q Network An engine for discovery, the IBM Q Network is a collective of organisations that are doing cutting edge research using the IBM Quantum Computers.
