• HIGHFIELD RESIDENCES - GIRTON, MEDHURST AND REITH HALLS OF RESIDENCE

The Highfield residences are on the Education campus between the Medical School and the Wits Business School campus. These three lofty structures accommodate female undergraduates, with a high proportion of medical students. Each of these three residences accommodates 300 female undergraduates. Girton and Medhurst provide catered accommodation only, but Reith has 40 self-catered places for senior undergraduates.Facilities include television lounges with DSTV, study spaces, tuckshops and laundries. All rooms have central heating. Sports facilities and a large computer lab are located nearby.

Note: In accordance with University regulations, male visitors are not permitted above the ground floor of each of these residences.
