The School of Chemistry in the Faculty of Science invites applications for the above position, specifically in the areas of coordination or organometallic chemistry, although outstanding applicants in other areas may also be considered.
Qualifications The minimum qualification is a PhD with post-doctoral or industrial experience, as well as expertise in the specified areas. An independent research record with supervisory and academic teaching experience would be an advantage.
Duties Teaching of general chemistry at first-year level and teaching in all aspects of the appointee’s branch of chemistry to Honours level, as well as a research programme in the appointee’s branch of chemistry. The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
