Well done, boys

The FNB Wits Rugby Club and team officially handed over the Varsity Shield trophy to Wits Vice-Chancellor Prof. Loyiso Nongxa during a lunchtime ceremony on the steps of the Great Hall. A large crowd of students and supports attended the hand-over to celebrate the team’s outstanding performance during the Varsity Shield this year. Now it’s off to the FNB Varsity Cup 2013!

	Our cup! Vice-Chancellor Prof. Loyiso Nongxa holds the trophy high after receiving it from team captain Devin Montgomery.		Staff, students and supports donning team colours showed their support to the Varsity Shield Champions with loud cheers.
	The FNB Varsity Shield 2012 champions will be a force to reckon with in next year’s Varsity Cup.		Vice-Chancellor Prof. Loyiso Nongxa congratulates the team on bringing such an honour to Wits
