2012 Steve Biko Bioethics Lecture

On 12 September 1977, Steven Bantu Biko suffered a brutal death whilst in police custody. This September marks 35 years since his death. Given Biko’s philosophies, we wonder what he would have to say regarding the status of healthcare in South Africa today. This is one of the questions which will be reflected upon and discussed by Biko’s contemporaries at the 2012 Steve Biko Bioethics Lecture. Attendees will be credited with CPD points in Ethics.
