Wolpe Dialogue: The Traditional Courts Bill: Advancing or Undermining Democracy

The Department of Sociology, Wits University and the Harold Wolpe Memorial Trust presents the Wolpe Dialogue in honour of the late Harold Wolpe, renowned academic and activist. The former Deputy Health Minister Nozizwe Madlala-Routledge, will deliver a talk entitled The Traditional Courts Bill: Advancing or Undermining Democracy? Madlala-Routledge is the Executive Director for Embrace Dignity and Director of Zizwe and Associates; she consults on peace, development, gender and democracy. She was also a Member of Parliament and Deputy Speaker and Deputy Minister of Defence. She will be in dialogue with Sanele Sibanda from the Oliver Schreiner School of Law at Wits. The Wolpe Dialogues are funded by the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, South Africa.
