National Prosecutions for International Crimes

The Wits Programme in Law, Justice & Development in Africa in the Wits School of Law is hosting Professor Naomi Roth-Arriaza from the University of California who will present a public lecture. She will be delivering public lecture entitled Positive Complementarity: National Prosecutions for International Crimes.

Roht-Arriaza is Professor of Law at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, where she teaches International Human Rights law, International Criminal Law and subjects related to accountability, reparations and transitional justice.  She is a Fulbright Scholar and Visiting Professor at the University of Botswana during 2012.
