The Shaka Readings

Actor and director Robert Mshengu Kavanagh will be performing extracts from Mazisi Kunene’s epic poem Emperor Shaka the Great in Preview: The Shaka Readings. It is hoped with this preview that it will generate enthusiasm for this under-appreciated classic of Zulu literature and to later present a full series of readings. The performance is hosted by the Wits Writing Centre.
