Position: TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (AD15)
Remuneration: A competitive salary package will be offered.
Description:

Applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals for the above mentioned position.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:  Minimum Grade 10 (Standard 8).  On the job training will be provided however some laboratory experience would be an advantage. Technical skills and knowledge of safety regulations is a must. Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team. Driver’s licence and experience in an engineering environment would be an advantage. 

 

DUTIES:

Setting up Laboratory equipment for classes.

Ensuring that all civil engineering laboratories are kept safe, clean & tidy.

Assisting in the setting up and dismantling of experiments.

Maintenance of equipment.

Ensuring that the lab is adequately stocked.

Photocopying of plans
