Smart School paperless education project launches.

Members of the Wits High Energy Physics Group (HEP) and Professor Beatrys Lacquet, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Information, Knowledge and Infrastructure Management, recently attended the launch of the Gauteng provincial government’s Smart Schools paperless education project.

The event, titled: The Big Switch On: Classroom of the future, launched the first digitised and paperless education system to be introduced at seven secondary schools in Gauteng, at the Boitumelong Secondary School in Tembisa.
