Fundraising

At the beginning of 2004, the University identified the Library as a top priority for fundraising because of inadequate information resources and the need for expanded information technology to cope with electronic resources. Academic staff and students have complained about the inadequate collections to support learning, teaching and research.

The Library has been working closely with the University Foundation on various fundraising efforts in South Africa and abroad.
