Live Jazz Music at Orbit

Enjoy live jazz music at The Orbit Jazz Club and Bistro located in the popular nightlife suburb of Braamfontein. The Orbit Jazz Club originated from a jazz social club first founded in the suburb of Troyeville in the early 2000s. The venue offered an intimate environment where musicians and jazz aficionados would meet to listen to live music and recordings.

Bassline

Originally opened in 1994 as a small, live music venue in the bohemian suburb of Melville. It rose to prominence as the ultimate live music venue to experience South Africa’s finest Jazz and Afro-beat, branching out by featuring poetry readings, comedy and impromptu jam sessions.

Neighbourgoods Market

This popular market takes place at the usual spot on 73 Juta Street in Braam and you can expect a variety of goods on offer. There are stalls selling clothes, a variety of international and local food, crafts and drinks, and live music performances add to the inner-city vibe. It takes place from 9am until 3pm.

FNB Stadium
