Blended Learning | Learning via electronic and online media as well as traditional face-to-face teaching by expert lecturers.

Simulation Labs | Students are trained and assessed on how to react to conditions as they would under real life circumstances. Clinical skills, attitudes, knowledge and reasoning are evaluated, preparing students for transition into the real clinical environment.

eZones | A student-centred adaptive learning environment on Wits Education Campus that uses advanced eLearning tools to deliver education that prepares students for the 21st Century.

ulwazi | The Wits Learning Management System (LMS) uses the Canvas online platform to support teaching and learning, Canvas is a modern, powerful LMS used by thousands of universities around the world. 

KuduBot | our online support, works 24/7 to provide information on a host of topics including Entry Requirements, APS calculations, Applications Fees and payments, Scholarships and financial support Sports, Residences and accommodation.

Bookstores | The University has appointed stockists on campus who undertake to stock all the books you need for your courses. IH Pentz Booksellers are located in The Matrix on Braamfontein Campus East. Van Schaik Bookstore is located in the DJ du Plessis Building on Braamfontein Campus West and at the Medical School. 

Disability Rights Unit | A support unit that is committed to ensuring that students with disabilities have equal access to educational opportunities at Wits so they can participate, freely and actively, in all facets of university life. 

Wits Donald Gordon Medical Centre | The first and only private teaching hospital in South Africa. 

Emthonjeni Centre | A multi-disciplinary Centre that offers psychological, social work, speech pathology and audiology services to the public.

Centre for Deaf Studies | Training of teachers of the Deaf and equipping parents of Deaf children and the greater Deaf community with the knowledge and skills to foster equal opportunities for the South African Deaf Community.

The Wits Law Clinic | A respected law office that has been involved in many precedent-setting cases in our courts. We offer the following units of specialisation: family, labour, delict, urban evictions, refugee and a general unit which concentrates on consumer and contract law.

Campus Health | Cost-effective, convenient, accessible and comprehensive health care services.

Counselling & Careers Development Unit | Personal Counselling, Career Counselling, Psychometric Career Assessments, Graduate Recruitment and HIV-AIDS education and support.

Commissioners of Oath | this service is available on the Concourse, Ground Floor, Solomon Mahlangu House (formerly Senate House) daily from 09:00 – 11:00 and again from 13:00 - 15:00.

Wits Libraries | Wits is home to 11 Libraries which allow staff, students and researchers access to book volumes, journal titles and electronic resources, including beautiful paintings, maps, early printed books and rare manuscripts.

Historical Papers Research ArchiveA platform for research and community engagement and one of the most comprehensive public archives in Southern Africa with over 3400 collections. 

History Workshop | Promoting research into the lives, experiences and social worlds of people and communities in South Africa that have been neglected by scholarly investigation to address the erasures of colonialism and apartheid.

Wits Art Museum research resources and collections | WAM's holdings have enormous research value for academics, artists and educators, as well as those working in the arts, culture and heritage fields.
