Alumni Desktop Communicator

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Wits Alumni Communicator - an exciting new way for alumni worldwide to tailor the news and information they receive from Wits.

The Wits Alumni Communicator appears automatically on your desktop after installation. It enables you to personalise the type of information you want to receive. It will keep you updated with Wits and alumni news and events, and provide a range of useful information and links.

Once installed, the Communicator will appear on your desktop when you start your computer and can easily be minimised or closed.

The Communicator is an additional communication channel. Alumni will continue to receive news and information through the WITSReview, The Edge newsletter, the alumni website, and e-mail.

Installation Tip: The Communicator may take a while to fully upload. Simply close the Communicator while data is uploading and reopen later.

Install and activate the Wits Alumni Communicator in three easy steps:

STEP 1: Install the Desktop Communicator by clicking here

STEP 2: Register with your name, surname, e-mail, and (optional) mobile number

STEP 3: Select from the list of the Wits news and events options

The Alumni Desktop Communicator:

• Always has current information that is updated automatically
• Includes a calendar of Wits University and alumni events
• Can be installed and operated on many computers simultaneously (e.g., home and office) and does not compromise existing Communicator installations (e.g., school communicator)
