
Drama for Life invites outstanding, innovative, cutting-edge artists from all over Africa to submit their entries for the 2012 Sex Actually Festival, which will take place at various venues across Johannesburg from 23August - 1September 2012.
Young newcomers, as well as experienced artists who produce, choreograph or facilitate dance performances, drama pieces, installations, interventions, poetry, exhibitions, workshops or street performances are welcome to apply.
The work must speak to the complexities of love, sex, relationships or HIV and AIDS and the human story around these issues in a contemporary society.
DFL Sex Actually Festival is the only arts festival of its kind on the African continent. The arts education, activist and therapeutic intervention aims to address the above issues, utilizing the performing arts in various ways. The festival brings communities from all parts of Johannesburg together to watch, discuss and take part in performances that shift perception, stigma and complacency.

The call for entries closes on 15 May 2012.
Artists must be open to working in innovative ways and closely with the festival team in order to curate an exceptional intervention.
