Research

The School has an active research program and encourages the interchange of ideas relevant to Actuarial Science, Mathematical Statistics and Operations Research. Research takes place at both a theoretical and an applied level, as can be seen from the home pages of the academic staff linked to this page.

Most academic staff in the School are either actively involved in research or are studying for Masters or PhD degrees.

We welcome applications for post-doctoral students, and especially visiting lecturers who wish to spend all or part of their sabbatical, or their retirement, collaborating with researchers in the school.
