Potential Fields Research

 Geophysics staff at Wits are very active in researching new techniques for the analysis and interpretation of potential field data. Approaches such as wavelets, textural analysis, etc are applied and adapted to problems such as the identification of meteorite impact sites, and the locating of Kimberlite pipes.
