Research Topic: Banach space theory is a branch of functional analysis, studying the abstract vector spaces equipped with a notion of "vector length" (called norm). Some Banach spaces have special geometric property (the norm is induced by an inner product), which are known as Hilbert spaces, where we can define geometrical concepts such as angles between vectors, area spanned by two vectors, etc, using the inner product. However, not all Banach spaces are equipped with an inner product. My research essentially extends elementary problems (mostly geometrical) in Hilbert spaces to a more general context of Banach spaces. Examples of these problems: Fermat-Torricelli point, orthogonality, angles between vectors, etc.
