Research Topic: I am a functional morphologist interested in the relationships between form and function in the human and non-human primate locomotor system. I apply biomechanical approaches to the study of the living primate postcranial skeleton to better understand early hominin locomotion. These approaches may include cross-sectional analysis, joint analysis, analysis of trabecular morphology, experimental techniques such as kinematic motion analysis and integration of all these data with in-vivo physiological and observational data.
