1 postdoctoral research fellowship is available to work on an exciting research project related to malaria mosquito behaviour. We require an enthusiastic postdoc for two years, with renewal after one year based on performance and progress.

Minimum requirements:

  1. PhD obtained within the last 5 years
  2. Experience with collecting and rearing anopheline mosquitoes and modelling mosquito dynamics with respect to climate change essential.

Additional requirements:

Experience with the following would be advantageous:

  1. Handling mosquitoes for measuring thermal tolerance limits

Duties and Expectations:

  1. Undertake focused and high quality research;
  2. Undertake other activities related to the academic programme and the professional development of the individual;
  3. Assist with routine mosquito colony maintenance.
