Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Anatomical Sciences

One postdoctoral research fellowship is available related to an exciting research project investigating the anatomy and function of infrasonic communication in African elephants. We require a post-doctoral fellow conversant with morphological and neurological anatomy with extensive field experience in Africa for two years, with renewal after one year based on performance and progress.

Minimum requirements:

  1. PhD obtained within the last 5 years
  2. Field experience in Africa
  3. Immunohistochemistry
  4. Large animal handling, preparation and dissection

Additional requirements:

Experience with the following would be advantageous:

  1. African elephants
  2. Electronic scoring systems
