The Wits Distinguished Scholars Programme is intended to support academic disciplines, departments, schools and faculties in identifying outstanding individuals, at the level of Nobel Laureates or equivalent, to visit the University and to work with Wits students, academics and researchers
Do you work in the fields of
(i) biosciences (food, agriculture biotechnology, health and indigenous knowledge), or
(ii) Information and Communication technologies, or
(iii) Renewable energies and energy efficiency?
The rationale for the grant is to make available funds to support the science community to access state-of-the-art equipment that is not available at their own research institution, region or nationally.
