WSOA FOCUS DAY - MUSIC - If you see with your ears, then follow the noise?
May 2007
Wits Music is, without doubt, the noisiest division in the WSOA!
Whether we are rattling the window panes with Wagner opera or knocking off the paint during marimba practices, we make sure we are heard. We take our music into other divisions by working collaboratively with students from other divisions in WSOA. We take our music to the rest of Wits by giving regular concerts in The Atrium or The Great Hall.

WSOA FOCUS DAY - FINE ART - If ink, clay, paper, wire, paint, videos, objects and things turn you on . . . then this is the page where you should look for places to see and things to do .
May 2007
In Fine Arts we are a messy bunch, fingering or patting clay into shape, brushing soft pigments across surfaces and capturing likeness on an orthodox perception. Observing closely and transcribing observations by means of charcoal and ink, scratching into copper plates and under pressure committing them to paper. Recording the fleeting world through photography and challenging traditional forms of art through performance and conceptual structures.
