Cynthia Kros
Has a PhD from Wits and is a historian and heritage specialist.
She offers post graduate courses in Public Culture (Heritage), the Theory and Practice of Archives and Representations and Rerepresentations of History and is currently supervising a number of PhD students in the field of heritage. Selected Publications: Co Editor of the South African Historical Journal since 2006. Various articles in accredited journals, Great People, Great Places (heritage series published by Jacana, 2009) and The Seeds of Separate Development: Origins of Bantu Education (Unisa Press, 2010).
She is a long time member of the Wits History Workshop and is currently part of a collaborative team from the Universities of Basel in Switzerland and Wits working on a project called Safeguarding Democracy.

Joseph Gaylard
Joseph Gaylard is a curator, researcher, writer and member of the Executive for the Visual Arts Network of South Africa, based with an artists' collective at Drill Hall in Johannesburg, teaches post graduate courses at Wits in Arts, Culture and Heritage management and curating.

Jill Waterman
Jill Waterman initiated and teaches undergraduate and post graduate courses in theory and practice of Arts Management.
She has presented papers at the International Federation for Theatre Research Conference, Africa in Theatre and Theatre in Africa, in Norway at the NOFOD Conference, Ilitha Arts Education Conference in Grahamstown, and at University of Cape Town's Confluences Conference.
Selected Publications: Investigating Arts and Culture, Jute Press, entries in the Dictionary of Modern Dance,St James Press, and 20 years of Moving into Dance 1978-1998. Her present research interests lie in challenging binary social and economic models in revealing the value of arts today through reviewing the sustainability of South African Dance Companies who receive three year funding from the National Arts Council.
Among others, she has worked with: Moving into Dance, Newtown Improvement District, The Greater St Lucia Wetlands Park, Gauteng Institute of Curriculum Development, Business and Arts South Africa, National Arts Council, United States Information Services, Australian High Commission, British Council, The Bag Factory, Royal Netherlands Embassy, Arts and Culture Trust, and Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre.
