Capacity Building Projects

The EPU provides support and capacity building, drawing on our research findings on an ongoing basis.

We are currently working on a project to support 5 colleges, over a period of three years, including piloting a Vocational Education Orientation programme.

We engage in policy processes, nationally and internationally. For example, we are participating in the process to draft a new Green Paper for the post-school sector, and recently provided support to the Government of India in its planning of a National Vocational Qualifications Framework.

We work with Statistics South Africa, to build their capacity in analysing the information they collect. Statistics South Africa also give access to their data which is both published and unpublished.
