The WSOA offers programmes in fine arts, digital arts, music, drama, television and film studies and art culture and heritage management to students at undergraduate and postgraduate level.We create learnng and research situations for arts in dialogue with the muliple and vibrant realities of a truly cosmopolitan place: Johanesburg.We also share the knowledge emerging from our activities through our growing international networks in the Southern and Northern hemisphnere. 

As a student at the WSOA you can expect to be part of a dynamic scholarly community. You will have access to workshops and seminars by academics who are well-known nationally and internationally in a number of areas of traditional and creative research.
