1 to 4 sessions, to be booked individually, on a Tuesday morning, or at another time, if Tuesday is not possible.
Each session costs R100, and can be claimed from Medical Aid under Physiotherapy Code 505
Total cost for exercise rehabilitation: R100.00 - R400.00
Paid in advance to SUPERHEARTS PRACTICE and claimed after the sessions have been completed |
All the above fees are payable by cheque, preferably, or in cash. Invoices and receipts can be submitted to Medical Aid for re-imbursement. You must furnish your Medical Aid with your details and the dates on which you received the procedures.
You may attend during the supervised sessions on any other weekday of your first month, but these sessions will not be personally supervised. However, if you need help setting up apparatus etc, pleases speak to the staff member on duty.
After the initial period is over, you will pay R100 per month. However, you may still be advised to attend only during the supervised sessions for a few more months. The staff will advise you about this.
If your initial period finishes in the middle of a month, you can negotiate a lower fee with the staff for that particular month (e.g. R 50 or R75 instead of R100).
COST FOR WITS STAFF:
Admission fee is waived. Cost per month R100.00. Individual sessions can be arranged, if required, at R100.00 per session. If you need only advice about how to work the apparatus, staff will assist during normal exercise hours.
Step programme available at no extra cost (ask for schedule).
PLEASE NOTE
- Monthly subs for supervised exercise can only be claimed from Medical Aids against a specific code. The code used is Physiotherapy 308 "Group exercises" and one session costs R25.00. This would mean that an invoice would have to be issued for those members who wish to claim from Medical Aid. Please speak to Helen Joughin, the Manager of the Centre about this. Four sessions per month will be charged for. These must be paid up front and the receipted account is then submitted by you to your Medical Aid. Again, you must ask for an invoice when you pay, and when submitting the account, you must supply the dates that you attended the center.
- Members who are over 65 years of age can claim costs that are not paid by Medical Aid as a tax rebate.
