Tshepiso Paliweni - 4th year Bachelor of Nursing student

I found nursing to be a scientific art that carved my caring, empathy and compassion. In it I found the ability to choose my own goals with wisdom, and to act decisively to pursue them.
Saajidah Kara - 4th year Bachelor of Nursing student

To me, nursing is not just a profession; it is a way of life. The skills that I've learnt have had a tremendous impact on my life and my family. Nursing has become the blue print for my goals in life.

Meghan Johnson - 4th year Bachelor of Nursing student

What I gained from my Wits nursing degree will always guide me through the darkest nights and fiercest storms that I may encounter in nursing. Caring for the sick and for mentally ill persons; delivering and caring for newborn babies will always be a joy to me.

Phuthi Monama - 3rd year Bachelor of Nursing student

I have realised my dream in nursing and I believe that although I am a man I can be as caring and compassionate. My nursing studies have shaped my ability to relate to and empathise with people and communities in need of care. The PBL way of learning has broadened my thinking and has helped me to think more critically about patients' problems.
