Equipment funding

University Research Committee - Call for applications for minor equipment (items between R25 000 and R300 000). 

NB: Please note that applications should be for one piece of “minor” equipment only (multiple components of the same piece of equipment may be applied for).

The FRC has some funds available to ‘match’ the funding awarded to Schools/Departments/Research Entities by the URC. However, the FRC funding is limited due to the decrease in the WHC Dividend in 2012. Thus, some funding from Schools/Department/Entities to supplement the “matched”  funding would enable the FRC funds to contribute to more applications.
