Yet again, this newsletter sees us celebrating outstanding achievements and publications from researchers in the Faculty of Health Sciences. We report on hot-off-the-press findings published in the leading journals of PLoS One, Lancet Infectious Diseases, and New England Journal of Medicine. In the news section, we’re proud to see our staff, students and alumni making an impact across the globe, and the Centre for Health Policy featured in a special issue of the Journal of Public Health Policy.

In this issue, we’ve introduced a new section on “Research in Process”, where we’ve reported on ongoing HIV, cervical cancer and malaria research. We’re also pleased to feature a report from the Department of Radiology, detailing their outstanding research initiatives and outputs. We welcome contributions to this newsletter; please let us know of your achievements and ongoing research activities.
