Welcome to our new-look Research Newsletter… shorter, punchier… to support our time-stressed researchers! We are attempting to keep important information short and sweet to ensure that you have time read it. The Research Newsletter will be published monthly to keep you up to date as research news develops. The Faculty Research Office will also send out a consolidated news-sheet once a month, drawing attention to activities such as research courses and lectures, as well as important funding application dates.

We warmly welcome our new Dean, Professor Ahmed Wadee, and wish him all the very best for his term of office, which started on 1 June. Lastly, thanks to Gillian Haagensen (CHSE Graphics Unit) and Philippa McKechnie for their work on the great new Faculty Research Office logo, which features on our front page.
